Guest Post: Things that caught Lusty Leave's eye this week

I'm spending today making the drive from St. Louis to Macomb, IL and then moving into my dorm room, but I couldn't let a Sunday "Things that caught my eye this week" post go unwritten. Hello, all! I am so very honored to guest post here for Elana while she enjoys moving. And she's being way too nice because she has better taste than me ;-) Well, while here in California it's hitting like 100 degrees, I am anxiously awaiting winter. I'd like to wear coats and tights, please! So here are some winter-inspired 'things that caught my eye'. I hope you enjoy it!

This headband earwarmer and cowl are so perfect in color and perfect for the winter! Everything in this shop is beyond lovely. 

This stationary set is simple, but oh so darling with the hand-painted pine tree design on the envelope. Parker Fitzgerald's photography never ceases to amaze me.

I thought this article on thought catalog was good, I always need books to read and this winter you will catch me with a hot cup of coffee and one of these! This coat is the perfect violet color and those gold buttons are wonderful.

These vintage boots look perfect to go out adventuring and are the perfect color. This backpack is on my wishlist and I have to buy it soon! There are so many colors available and it's the perfect size.
