After all that time of counting down until I had a break, I now can't wait to get back to school, work, and all of my friends back in the Midwest. I think two weeks is about enough for me; I've spent time with most of the people I wanted to and I've sat around relaxing for quite some time. Maybe I just find ways to complain no matter what situation I'm in, but I suppose this is as good a place to do so as any.
One thing I'm definitely not looking forward to when I go back is real winter. I'm absolutely soaking up this lack of coats and gloves, no doubt about that. It was so nice the day I wore this to go to South Coast (oh you know, the high end Orange County mall) with my sister-in-law that I couldn't but throw on my cheerful sailboat skirt. My brother and sister-in-law got me this necklace for Christmas from Francesca's and I'm in love. Apparently my 3-year-old nephew picked out. What can I say? Good taste runs in the family.
I still haven't changed from Illinois time. Oops. |

I'm so jealous of how warm it looks where you are! It's deathly freezing here, but what's new about New England weather, right?

love this look so much! the colors are perfect together. loving the different textures and patterns!
ReplyDeleteI love the stripes with your cute sailboat skirt! That skirt is seriously the cutest!! And that's awesome that your nephew picked out the necklace! He has awesome taste. You look darling. I'm EXTREMELY jealous of the warm weather. Here in Utah it's been around 5-10 degrees for the past few days. I honestly might just give up and die.

I love this combination so much and your necklace is amazing. I don't know why you'd want to come to a real winter though...it's terribly cold. You're crazy, but at least you're well dressed.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I love that necklace, and how darling that your nephew picked it out. He did a great job! Necklaces like that always look great with striped tops. I like visiting home too now that I've been away for a while. :)

P.S. I *ALMOST* didn't proof read what i wrote before i hit "publish" and instead of "now" i accidentally had the word "not" in there. Which would of made me sound like a total asshole. XD So now i am cracking up and really thankful that i double checked my words!!!!
The stripe top is so pretty and I love the printed skirt! That necklace is really gorgeous too, your 3 year old nephew really does have good taste :) And nooooooo I want to buy things from your store but I can't because of my shopping ban. You have so many cute clothes!!
ReplyDeleteMy friend has a shirt in this pattern! She wore it in a post of mine! I love it. And I really hate the cold cold winters too - snow is difficult
