I've loved all of the items I've borrowed from the Flock Together girls, but there have been a few that just immediately get me excited after opening them. It's swaps like these that only take me the next day or so to wear. I got this dress in the mail only a couple of days ago, but couldn't wait to wear it. This is the third dress I've borrowed from Ashley, and I swear I've fallen more and more in love with each one as I've received them. I was completely smitten with this one the moment I saw her wearing it on her blog and was beyond thrilled when I saw that she had to put it up to be swapped. Don't be surprised if you see this one being remixed again.
In fact, I loved this dress so much that I actually wore it for my first day of my internship, which was yesterday. I don't think I'm allowed to talk about it on the Internet too much, but it went well! The environment is a little intimidating, but I think I'll get the hang of it. I'm only going in two times a week because it's so far though. Two hours in LA traffic is just as bad as it sounds.
I hope you all like my new blog design that Joyce made for me! She was such a dream to work with and she perfectly conveyed what I wanted in the design. I was hoping for something really clean and with sans serif type, and I absolutely love how it turned out. I definitely recommend Joyce if you're looking to redesign your blog!

Such a cute dress on you, and I was going to say that I love your shoes (which I do!), and then I realized that I have the same ones in white and wear them ALL the time. I love them in black though, too. And I forgot to mention that I love your new blog design! Very clean, and the illustration on top is so adorable.

ReplyDeleteDang, Joyce has been doing some work! Aha, I've seen her designs on a lot of the blogs that I read. She does an amazing job. Love the new format! I'm definitely hiring her once I get some extra money lying around...haha
ReplyDeleteThis dress...this dress! *_* Wow, I can see why you fell for it right away. Its super duper cute Elana - and with your bold statement necklace, its perfect for an internship day.
Yikes, and I saw your photo about LA traffic...ugh, that's awful -_-

This is such a cute dress, and perfect with that necklace and shoes. It's awesome that you like work. Also...yeah, LA traffic is terrifying. I was visiting when they had some highway pass closed or something, and I'd thought it was awful before they closed it and...yeah. Two hours of that just sounds awful. I hope you enjoy it even more as you keep at it (your internship, not the traffic, I mean...I guess enjoying the traffic would be a helpful thing, but I don't think enjoying traffic is really possible...)
