I spent all weekend convinced I would be able to take outfit pictures yesterday, but seeing as Mother Nature had different plans for me that involved rain and wind, I was forced to suck it up and take indoor pictures. Regardless of the location, I still wanted to show you what I wore on Thursday to get a drink with my friend Kylie and then to Downtown Disney for Starbucks, Earl of Sandwich, and the "Guardians" midnight premiere. Yes, my social life mostly just consists of food and drinks, but that's normal, right? Anyway, I'm in love with this comfortable striped cropped tank even if my height (or lack thereof) makes it difficult for it to actually be cropped on me. I've been looking for more basics, and I tried this tank on at TJ Maxx at the beginning of summer, but ended up passing on it. When Kylie and I stopped in early last week, I stumbled upon it again, but this time it was in the clearance section for $4. I like that it's simple in the front and fun in the back. Sure, we can call it a mullet top.I know you were thinking it. It only makes sense.
This is by no means my favorite outfit, but it was still a comfortable look that was cute enough for the night's festivities. For some reason I've been gravitating toward red more often, which I'm okay with. It's a color I shied away from for a long time, but I've been embracing it now in full force.
All cards on the table, I definitely already saw "Guardians of the Galaxy" for a second time last night. When Whitney called me to see if I wanted to see it again, I didn't know how to say no. It was so enjoyable, and I wanted to see if I had missed any jokes the first time. I regret nothing.

Plus, I'm participating in Hannah's amazing giveaway. If you don't know already, Hannah of The Braided Bandit has an adorable vintage store and makes gorgeous flower crowns. To celebrate summer and her shop rebranding, she's giving away an awesome pack of prizes including store credit to her vintage shop, a floral crown, and a necklace. I've loved getting to know Hannah and supporting her business, and since she was so nice to participate in my giveaway last year, I'm pleased to be participating in hers. The giveaway runs until Sunday night and is open internationally!
