I don't have much time to type because I have to go to sleep early, but I still wanted to upload a quick post. Although I can't say that I'm ecstatic about part of the reason why my bedtime has to be early for some reasons, it's actually a great thing. I'm taking on some new, exciting responsibility starting Monday (today as you're reading this) which requires me to work new hours. You see, I'm accustomed to working strange hours now, however, my current hours are later than most. I usually work 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., which has its perks -- mostly waking up at my leisure and enjoying my coffee before work. Now, I'll be working insanely early hours rather than late: 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The waking up 4:30 a.m. is going to, well, suck, but I'm excited to have my afternoons finally eat dinner at a normal hour again. No more making my friends wait until 9 p.m. to do anything, no sir.
When I'm not working, I'm doing things like watching With Bob and David (the not quite Mr. Show revival on Netflix) with Jon on Saturday and wearing this pretty lace dress to visit with my parents on Sunday. I picked up this dress at a thrift store when I hung out with Erica a little while ago, and it's become a favorite. I even had a woman in my office stop to me say that it was "stunning." Well, fancy lawyer lady who works down the hall, I would have to agree with you.
Side note: three cheers for tights weather, finally. Of course, my idea of tights weather has changed just slightly since moving back from the Midwest. Tights weather used to mean 40-50 degrees while I lived in Illinois. Now? 65 degrees and my Californian blood can't handle the thought of bare legs.
