Lately, I've been feeling a little bit uninspired in my outfits. Whenever I'm too lazy to put too much thought into it, I've been sticking to a uniform of sweaters, scarves, and boots. Nothing I've been wearing has been too exciting (and I'm back to not-so-great photos), so I thought I'd share what I've been wearing lately.

Skirt: vintage; Sweater: consignment; Dress (worn as top): T.J. Maxx; Scarf: ASOS; Boots: Target
|
|
Dress: F21, via swap; Cardigan: Target, via Katherine; Scarf: souvenir from Venice; Bracelet: local boutique |
|
Dress: Thrifted; Sweater: Francesca's Collections; Scarf: UO; Boots: Endless.com |
Also, when did my skirts get so short? Oh well, happy Friday everyone!
I like both of these. The color stories are great in both and sometimes you just need comfortable and your own style.
ReplyDeleteoh, I wish we could see more of the mustard dress, it looks like it's really pretty!
ReplyDeleteElana, I think you look great! I know what it's like to be in a rut with outfits (do I ever...have you seen any outfit pics on my blog lately?!) but honestly, I could never tell you were feeling uninspired. I love that you have something floral in every outfit. Also totally did a double-take when I saw that half-bust on the ground, ha! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I definitely have a uniform that I stick to when I can't think of anything else. It just makes life easier sometimes. I especially love the first outfit. That blue skirt is adorable and I love the grey sweater, too!
ReplyDeleteCute! I am lovin that first skirt!

Haha nothing like a pair of opaque tights to disguise a shorter-than-usual hem ;)
ReplyDeleteHey, you've figured out a good staple uniform - and face it Elana, you look way more put together and stylish than most people would when they're actually inspired. I loved seeing these outfits! That first one is my favorite out of them all - the skirt is just such a nice bright color against the black accents!
Trendy Teal
Totally not a boring staple outfit! It always looks like you put thought into it so keep on doing what you're doing <3

your skirts dont look too short at all to me but ya i know what you mean when things are mysteriously shorter, esp when no dryer is even involved... anyway, you look super cute. I LOVE this as a sort of back up staple - so great! I esp love that beautiful pink scarf (when did you go to Venice!!?!?!?) and the other colored ones, adds a really fun pop. Hope you're enjoying Halloween weekend!

There is nothing better than a go-to outfit. I've been wearing almost exactly the same outfit. Plus this outfit is super flattering on you and I don't think your photos look bad at all.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfits! Lately, I have been feeling uninspired too (I keep wearing the same things urgggh) but your go to outfits are so cute. I especially love all the knits and the floral in the first outfit :) You are soo good at layering!
ReplyDeleteI love these looks girl! They are oh so perfect for fall and look cozy and pretty to boot. You have a great scarf collection!
