When we were taking these photos, T.J. told me I looked like a French girl. Luckily, that is exactly what I was going for. My two Cyber Monday purchases for myself came in (I didn't plan on buying myself anything, but you know how these things go. I did spend less than $25 on myself though) in the form of this scarf and shirt and I had been waiting to wear them together. As luck would have it, they came in on the same day. In other news, I'm starting to think my online shopping addiction isn't so funny and becoming an actual problem. My mother would agree.
I know I've been a little MIA around here, but starting a job tends to do that. I did survive my first week (and only week until I come back from winter break in January) without anyone dying, so I'm feeling pretty good. All I have to do is get through finals this week and I'm golden for a month. Also, The Hobbit comes out this week. Yep, things are starting to shape up.

Such great finds. I'm loving that shirt! I know what you mean about mothers - she gives the same lecture every time I say that I'm going thrifting: 'you need more clothes like you need a hole in your head.' Oh mothers. :P
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your finals!

Ha, I know, I'm developing a problem as well I believe...
ReplyDeleteAnd you know what would've made this even more French girl-looking? Picture that infinity scarf in red. But I like the yellow shade better. Its super cute on you Elana!
Also...thank you so much for your encouraging words. Receiving all this support is overwhelming and incredible. I cannot believe how many people have consoled me through this - and still are. It'll take time to move on from this, and I know it. But just reading such kind comments helps <3

French Elana indeed! I love it. Mustard is just great on you. and having a job tends to make it hard to be one of the girls who comments daily. Hence why I do my rounds like once a week
