Flock Together: Dots for Days

I'm wearing Ashley's polka dot dress again, but this time over at Flock Together! Head on over there to see more!

Dress (worn as skirt): Borrowed from Ashley
Shirt: Madewell
Shoes: Modcloth

Also, I've never been one to share my political or social beliefs on here, but this is a personal space and I see no harm in quickly addressing my support for marriage equality. I may not be too vocal about things like this on the Internet, and I may not have changed my Facebook profile picture, but I just wanted to share my strongest political view: everyone deserves the right to get married, regardless of sexual orientation. I won't preach and I won't spend any more time addressing this on my blog, but I can't think of a better way to leave this than with my favorite picture I saw yesterday that my brother posted on Facebook:

"Every family is equal, even if it's just you and Alfred."

  1. It's great to hear. I believe that love is love! Hopefully we're close to Marriage equality over here in the UK.

  4. Political commentary is always best with a little dose of humor. :) That said, right on to your for posting your view point, everyone does deserve a right to happiness and family security and I think it's pretty atrocious of us to try to deny rights to a whole group because of personal religious beliefs. Especially when it's such a stupid thing to fight over! You want to deny right to this group of people and single them out when we've got such a mess and there's people dying from horrible causes all over the world? It just drives me crazy sometimes. :P (Hah, there needs to be a grump old person face, I sound like such a grouch here.)

All of that aside, yay for polka dots! I really, really like how full the skirt is on this dress and it's so fun how you tied the top over it.

  9. kudos to you for taking a stand and sharing your views!! I def always avoid it for the sheer sake of not expending the energy of getting upset over nasty comments disagreeing and whatnot. but anyway, I love this graphic so much! it really makes me sad all the energy people spend making people feel bad.
