Copy Cat

I definitely have at least two or three sets of photos featuring different outfits that were taken before this set, but I couldn't wait to share this one. The dress arrived on Wednesday afternoon, I wore it yesterday, and I need to share it with the world today. No regrets.

I'd actually seen this dress a bunch of times on other bloggers before — mostly Jenna, though — and it was love at first sight. For those of you who don't know, my last name is Katz, and anything with cats on it is literally calling my name (okay, not literally, but the joke still works). I actually had the opportunity to borrow Jenna's dress since she posted on Flock Together, but I ended up getting for myself for a couple of reasons. Jenna's dress is a small, and I ended up trying on one when I was in H&M a few weeks in that size. Unfortunately, the small wasn't working for my bust, and there weren't any mediums. I've been checking the site almost religiously to see if it was still in stock in my size since then, and I finally just decided that I needed it for myself. How could a dress this perfect not be in my possession? I never want to take it off.

Although I still can't write a short post (or anything, really) to save my life, there really isn't too much going on in life. Luckily, things are going to start getting interesting soon, as I'll get to go to St. Louis next weekend with the newspaper staff for a journalism workshop and Chicago the next week with some people from the fashion department for an industry event. Boring posts no more!

  1. I LOVE that dress - I've seen it at my H&M and I always stand there and stare at it wondering if I should buy it (I have way too many printed skater dresses so I'm trying to not buy any more). It looks amazing on you! Very cute!

  3. Hahah I love this dress, and the cats/Katz thing is perfect. We have such typical Jew names :) I really love the blue belt with this, too. I also miss having an H&M near me (the closest one is an hour away now), but I'm glad they have online shopping, finally!

  24. ah, the excitement of a perfect new dress. It IS perfect and looks great on you!! One of the close-ups makes the material look like its that "piping" kind (if that makes any sense) but I think that adds to the charm of the dress. Glad you got it!!
