When I asked my mom to take photos of me in this outfit, she said, "You mean you haven't taken pictures in your favorite dress?"

It's not necessarily my favorite (though let's face it, I have a lot of favorites in my closet), but I do wear this dress a lot. I've had for about two years now and I still can't get over how pretty it is. It doesn't hurt that the full skirt makes it incredibly comfortable.

Without realizing it, I purchased half of this outfit from Buffalo Exchange. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I have a buying problem when it comes to T.J. Maxx, but I'm starting to realize that Buffalo Exchange may have it beat. I think it might be impossible for me to walk out empty-handed. I try to justify it by bringing in items to sell as often as possible. Every so often they actually take my stuff.

I don't own too many things from Urban Outfitters (those prices are just trying to kill me), but I do own quite a few pairs of shoes from there. I love the fit of the Kimchi Blue flats and just picked these up last week. The color shows up really weird in these photos, but their actually lavender. Just trust me on this.

I spent most of the day at the O.C. county fair, but I finally have time to reply to comments and catch up on blogs. And by that I mean completely shut out the outside world while I stare at my computer screen for a couple of hours.

  5. I love that blazer! :D I've never been to a Buffalo Exchange, but that's because there are none around here, ha ha

  6. Oh, I thought your shoes were white and I was going to comment that I desperately need to find some white heels! It's the one color of heel I don't have but I wear a lot of it. I like lavender too though. :) I can see what that dress is one of your favorites! It is so pretty. I love the soft colors and the full skirt is always a great thing to have on a dress! Have a great weekend! <3

  7. pretty floral dress!<3
    omg nice one!

  8. i stop by t.j. maxx every weak on my way home from work. i've found some great pieces there that have made their way to the top of my favorites list. sadly, we don't have a buffalo exchange and i'm pretty disappointed by most of our consignment stores. the blazer and dress combination looks great!

    enjoy your weekend.

  9. Lovely outfit! That neckalce is such a great piece. :)

  10. such good finds! stores like that can always be tricky, but when you find the right stuff its the best!

  11. the dress is really pretty (great colour & floral print) I can see how it's one of your favourites! Urban prices are a bit crazy but their sale prices are great!!

  12. So wish I lived nearer a Buffalo Exchange. I almost always love something in them on the rare chance I've gotten to go. You look super cute and that necklace just takes it to the next level somehow.

  13. u look super adorable!! love ur necklace and that back is jst a great thrift find

  14. This dress is so cute! It has a great pattern, and I really like how you belted it, and wore it with this blazer to giver it structure! You look great!

  15. Loooooovin' the dress and necklace. We need to go shopping together )-:

  16. I have a weakness for TJ Maxx too, damn their incredibly appealing prices and label apparel LOL! The print of your dress is very pretty, love the grey tone and print.

    Have a great weekend!

  17. TJ Maxx and Marshalls are my absolute weakness! Love this outfit, the fullness of the dress is beautiful and the blazer really keeps the look edgy. I really need to get to a fair this summer!

  18. so my google reader didn't push this? hmmm....silly google reader. anyhow, i have tons of dresses and clothing items that i realize i wear a lot, but haven't worn on the blog. it makes sense - a lot of the things are things i wear to work, but when i am getting cute for the weekend, it doesnt make sense to wear black heels to a farmers market! and always look for sales at urban - their sale section is seriously where it is at! i have soooo many things just from the sale section. i lived across (like literally walk about of my apartment and cross the street) from urban for a year in college and it was problematic!

  19. I was totally gonna say "How chic and simply gorgeous are those white flats?" Anyway...(coming up with alternate comment now) I totally agree with you, I don't buy a whole lot from Urban but I do have several pairs of shoes because they are perfect (and not outrageously priced, as far as shoes go). Also, that blazer fits you like I wish mine would. Gorg. The end.
