Get this girl some outfit photos, stat!
Sometimes I just want to climb atop a mountain and declare my love for the fashion blogging community. Not only do my sweet readers' comments do wonders for my ego, I've already met some of the most kind, talented, intelligent, interesting, and stylish people from all around the world after only a few months of blogging. With bloggers from every part of globe, imagine my excitement when Nataly of Lusty Leaves and I found out we both lived in Orange County. It was fate. Yesterday, we met up at one of my favorite places, the Orange Circle, where we drooled over expensive vintage dresses, wanted to buy everything in antique stores, and spilled delicious gelato all over ourselves like children. I have a few friends I can do things like this with, but with the majority of my friends being a bunch of video game-obsessed dudes, I can't contain my excitement over spending time with someone who not only could talk with me about good TV, but could gush over designers and fashion blogs while contemplating buying a vintage floral bag. It didn't hurt that she's even sweeter in person and I felt like I had known her forever. If meeting everyone from the internet was this much fun, I'd start replying to Craigslist ads immediately.
Nataly was nice enough to take my outfit photos for the day and we stopped at this beautiful old church. My skirt is actually a strapless dress I put a lace tank over and it's one of those pieces I've had forever and will never get rid of. Thankfully, it's lightweight enough that I wasn't dying in the heat. I convinced Nataly to let me take one picture of her, but I think she needs to start taking outfit photos ASAP. Maybe if enough commenters agree with me, she'll get the push she needs...
I hope everyone reading is enjoying their week as much as I am, and make sure to check out Nataly's blog, Lusty Leaves, as well!
