Well, well, well. It's been a minute, hasn't it? My blogging habit has dwindled over the past year or so, but I certainly didn't mean to take a few weeks off. Work has been so crazy lately that I've been working at night often, and when I'm not, I'm usually so exhausted that I just want to watch TV and fall asleep. I'm not sure if I even want to keep posting as regularly as I used to, but I still enjoy having this blog around for whenever I do decide to make the time. Taking outfit photos is still part of regular routine, though, so you can still find those from me almost daily over on my Instagram.
For a while there, I was buying a lot of new items, and I hadn't been sharing thrifted pieces as much as I once had. I like keeping a healthy mix, but I visited my favorite thrift store last week, and got it me inspired to start getting creative with secondhand pieces again. This top is actually a dress that I found for 50% on Labor Day, and I've already worn it twice. I actually found this skirt at the same thrift store months ago, but when I tried it on, it didn't fit well. It was so cheap and cute that I decided to get it anyway and try to sell it. It hasn't sold (obviously) so I decided to give it another try yesterday, and it fit great! I'm pretty positive that I have NOT lost weight since I last tried it on so I'm not quite sure what happened that first day (maybe it was just a bloated day? I didn't try hard enough to pull it over my hips? It happens.), but either way, I'm excited to get some use out of it.
All of I've been doing the past few weeks is talk about, think about, read about, and watch Game of Thrones. I kind of went down a rabbit hole of articles and podcasts after the season finale, and I decided to start rewatching from the beginning. I've never gone back and rewatched it, so it's been great catching all of the things I missed and picking up on things now that I know where characters end up in by season 7.
So yeah, that's pretty much what I've been up to. Oh, that and meeting Angelyne, hanging out with Hanh, and having a blast with Erica every weekend. But mostly the Game of Thrones thing.

How you described blogging lately puts into words exactly how I feel. I love having my blog when I do get to it- its just that doesn't always happen, lol.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm so glad that you do still blog when you have time; love hearing about life. Soooo curious as to what you thought about it Game of Thrones' latest season? I loved some of it, but it also had some pretty big tonal changes (and travel got way easier from what I can tell.)
Lastly- love all the instagram outfits even if they don't make it to the blog.
What a pretty outfit! Looks great on you!
