Black and white

Not a lot of photos today because there wasn't too much time to take many at all. My friend Jessica helped me take these really quick yesterday right before we had to get to the activities fair to set up our club's table. The good news is that we actually had a pretty good amount of people show up to our first meeting, which was a big change from last year. It's nice to actually have some more people on campus interested in fashion and excited to be involved.

I found this shirt at the same thrift store I found the bag on Thursday and couldn't believe my luck. Not only did it fit perfectly, it was only $1. You would never expect it, but I swear this town's thrift stores have some of the best hidden gems. This especially, Project Hope, always manages to have something good and I don't think I've ever paid more than $3 for anything. I felt a little like a 1950's housewife wearing this around campus and I couldn't have been happier.

I'm beginning to think I may have an unhealthy addiction to polka dots. I'm hoping the fashion blogging community can serve as my support group.

Did anyone score anything good from Modcloth's Last Hurrah sale? My order somehow already got here today and I couldn't be happier. I'll be sharing soon, get excited.

  5. So flabbergasted that you got that cute top for only a dollar. I don't think I can even buy a candy bar for that amount of money haha....

and I don't know why but your comment on my fall trends post didn't show up?! but I got the email so... weird things happening. But in response: Absolute agreement. I need to find a way to grow money trees because my sad addiction to shoes isn't exactly the best treatment for my emptying bank accounts. :(

  11. Yay more polka dots (it's okay, you can never have too many polka dots!) and I love the cute pastel flats, so pretty. And wow that is really cool that you have run the fashion club at your school, it seems like it would be a fun club to be a part of :)By the way, so jealous of your thrifted bag, I should really go thrifting more often.
